Perfect Base To Come Home To At Days End

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect size for us and the yard/beach/fire pit/shoreline deck were fabulous.

We went out and about during the day, would get back, grill up some supper and eat it on the shoreline deck. After supper, we’d build a fire in the pit and enjoy it all evening. We got to watch a storm to our north with beautiful lightening display.

We recommend the Apostle Island Cruise out of Bayfield and the Lost Creek Falls hiking trail south of Cornucopia. 3 mile round trip hike that culminates in a smallish but beautiful 8 foot waterfall. One that you can even walk behind!

We purchased wine at local winery and Caramel Apple at local orchard.

Truly enjoyed our stay, and Jack was very responsive and made the check in process very simple. Everything was ready for us. This place has spices if you forget your own. It does not have a hair dryer that I could find, so definitely bring your own!

Overall a very enjoyable stay.
